Along the historic mule track that from the Confin farm descends to Venzone lies the characteristic 15th-century small church dedicated to St. Anthony, who is traditionally viewed as the protector of cattle and of travellers.

From Venzone you follow the road climbing up the Venzonassa valley and, past the houses of Borgo Prabrunello, you turn left on a dirt – partially concrete-paved – road. At the high-altitude fork, turn right and in a short while you will reach the Confin Alpine farm.

From the Confin farm you can take the following hiking itineraries: heading to Borgo Povici in the Val Resia (CAI trail no. 702), through the Slips saddle and the Val Resartico, or descend straight to Venzone along the old mule track (CAI trail no. 705).
In Venzone you can't miss a tour of the medieval walls encircling the old town, of the Duomo, which was perfectly rebuilt after the 1976 earthquake, a visit to the mummies in the San Michele chapel and to the Earth's Museum in the Palazzo Orgnana-Martina.
